The Concept: Okay, I’ll be honest – This one was a passion project. But that doesn’t mean it’s not effective! Introducing guests to past specialty dogs heightens scarcity around new LTO and creates excitement around whether certain hot dogs will ever return. Displaying the poster near the shop will give guests something to look at as they stop to rest, educate them about the history of the shop, and act as a subtle advertisement for the restaurant. Including photos about the individual specialty dogs (especially the most interesting ones) will also connect Disney with gourmet hot dogs in guests’ minds, drawing back memories of Casey’s Corner when they encounter interesting hot dogs elsewhere.
